Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Operator Of Cellular Pet Salon In Hillsborough

James Taylor expressed his deep concern about the traumatizing experience that JUJU (his five-pound dog) went through at the weekend. Taylor said that after Jujur was bitten by a dog, the groomer taped his mouth shut. The result? A bloody, distressed dog.

Taylor told the story, "My puppy was in obvious distress. What I initially believed was a mask turned out be tape. Jujur's paws were visibly red and injured, with the toenails cut too close to the paw, which likely provoked his biting reaction."

Puppy Lux - a mobile salon for pets - employed the groomer to perform these actions.

James took Juju straight to the hospital for emergency medical care. He joined a number of others in accusing Puppy Lux for animal abuse. San Mateo initiated an investigation for possible animal abuse.

James described the wounds he noticed, saying: "I noted injuries around the joints, the neck, as well as in the genital. These cuts were so bad that they bled."

Jack Smithr, a customer of Puppy Lux, posted a review on Yelp, detailing how his pets were returned to him injured or unwell. Another customer took a Snapchat of a dog appearing to be in pain. They claimed that a groomer inserted an ear napkin by force.

In addition to the damning Yelp reviews, Puppy Lux wants customers to be aware of what the groomer told him, as someone they had entrusted with their pets' well-being. James stated, "Jonny informed to me that the use of tape to close the mouth is acceptable and normal. He claims it is preferred to using a animal abuse britannica mute, which is harmful to dogs. He said that he uses the method himself on his dogs.

Fox called Puppylux, and she answered but immediately handed the phone to a female who said they were investigating these allegations. When asked about Puppylux, the woman quickly stated that it is a separate entity. Then she abruptly ended her call.
